How to Prevent Dog Bites

Dog bites are a serious issue, especially among children. The biggest reason for dog bites is that people do not know body language. During this workshop we will help you limit risk of children getting seriously injured by a dog bite. In a simplified format aimed at being an easy to read guide to understanding your dog.

Learn about some surprising statistics regarding dog bites, and how best to prevent your dog from biting someone, as well as preventing your child from being bit by a neighborhood dog.

What fatal dog bites have in common:
  • Dog is an un-neutured male dog
  • Dog is not contained/secured properly, and either escapes its enclosure or is not well-cared-for, meaning that the owner of the dog was not behaving in a responsible manner
  • Not socialized with people
  • Unsupervised encounters with children

A must-attend seminar if you have children

Gemini Bonus: Includes course handouts

Cost: $5 donation to the Sterling Animal Shelter (bring a checkbook or cash and we will combine all donations and send one check)
