Doggie Daycare & Boarding
After a day at Gemini's Doggie
Daycare, your dog will be just as tired as you are!
Our daycare is open
6:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day of the week. Pickups after 7 PM will incur at
$10 late fee.
Doggie Daycare
is a great way for your pooch to pass the time while you're at work. Your
dog plays with his friends, takes a nap, and goes out for bathroom breaks,
all under the supervision of our staff. Yes, we do have indoor play
areas for small dogs that can't tolerate the cold weather!
Making your dog's experience fun is our main goal.
Dog
Walking and In-Home Sitting
You asked for more options, so here you go! $15/walk,
$75 in-home boarding. Call for details! |
You are welcome
to stop by or bring your dog to visit our facility during the week (please
come inside alone at first to let us know that your dog is with you).
You and your
dog will meet some of our staff members, get a full tour, and learn about Gemini
Dogs.
"I'm sure you often hear from your clients how great you all are and how nice it is to have daycare for their dogs. I just wasn't sure if you hear how great it is to have YOU and YOUR daycare and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate it.
I am very thankful for the time you all took to get to know Calvin and to make him comfortable at Gemini. I know it is more than many would do, and honestly more than I expected.
I really appreciate that you remember his name when we come through the door in the morning, and I love how happy he is to see you."

A Typical Day
Look how much fun we have at Daycare!
Drop off your pooch anytime after 6:00am. We'll get him settled into
his new home, and once we find out more about your dog's personality,
we'll start introducing him to other dogs one at a time, so that he won't be
overwhelmed on his first day!
Once we find him a playmate or a group of friends, we'll take
them out to our securely fenced play area for supervised group play. (And if
he's a little nervous on his first day, we'll just pair him up with a human
friend!) Our play yard is divided up into multiple areas so that we can send
various groups outside at one time without mixing them all in together. Your
dog plays with his friends and with our staff. He is usually out to play for about an hour at a time.
Once he is done playing, we bring him indoors and crate him again for his
between-play nap. His nap time lasts about 30 minutes.
Your pooch will get plenty of bathroom breaks throughout the day.
We then take your dog back out to play with his friends again and we just repeat the
same process throughout the day until you pick him up!
Each dog gets an afternoon snack or
you can pack his lunch and we'll
feed him!
Pick up your pooch anytime you'd like. (Mind if we smooch your pooch
goodbye?) Daycare officially closes at 7:00pm. Please note that if
you are late, a $10 late fee applies.
Is Doggie Daycare for
Us?
While you're gone all day, what does your pooch do?
Is he always ready for hours of play when you return home exhausted from a
long day?
Does he whimper, cry, or bark at the door until you return?
Does he leave you little presents or destroy the couch cover?
Have you been feeling guilty because you don't have enough time to spend
with him? Then Doggie Daycare is for you!
Grooming Available
We offer grooming services to all of our clients; just ask us for a quote.
Daycare dogs get a 10% discount when they are groomed on the same day as their
daycare reservation.
We also offer nail trims for $5 or you can purchase four trims for $15
with a nail trimming card.
Training Available in Daycare
Your pooch can be trained while he is here with us!
We offer private training for daycare dogs. A whole week
of daycare plus private daily training is $300 total, while a single day
is $65.
Let us know in advance if you would like to have one of
our Certified Pet Dog Trainers train
your dog while he's here for playtime! We can support your in- class work
by practicing with your dog, or we can build his skills and teach him something
new!
Your dog will be clicker-trained, which in our opinion,
is the fastest and most positive training approach. This is also the most
transferable method of training from one person to another. You will be
given reading materials and some clicker training exercises to practice
without your dog while we are training your dog. It will be your responsibility
to maintain the training in your dog's daily life. Just as humans do, dogs
will revert to old habits if new ones are not maintained. We will be available
to help you through the transition process. |
