Gemini was among the first venues to host APDT Rally Obedience trials in New England. APDT Rally-O is a great way to bond with your pup and compete in a friendly atmosphere. Talk to your dog and even give treats during competition!
In APDT Rally Obedience, teams navigate a course with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform. Hope to see you at the next trial!
APDT Rally Obedience Highlights:

- Gemini Dogs currently offers opportunities for experienced trainers to become familiar with Rally-O signs and courses through our Rally-O Workshops on Monday evenings at 6:45pm. You must pre-register for this session. Drop-ins are available for a $25 fee, or we offer a six-week session for $150. You pick the start date, and come for six (not necessarily consecutive) weeks. Trial Confirmation Details
- Crating
We will be offering crating space both in the ring area, and upstairs. You are welcome to arrive at 7am for setup. The trial will begin at 8am, with the first walkthrough. We will be running the second trial each day immediately following the first, but it should be at least 11:30am-12:00pm before we reach that point. There may be a break for lunch, depending on the judges’ preferences.

This is an indoor trial located at 53 Ayer Road, Littleton, MA 01460.
The trial site opens at 7:00am each day.
- Directions
Take Interstate 495 to exit 30. Turn left and travel just over a mile on Routes 2A/110 West. Go through a stoplight located at the gas station. As you crest the hill, you will notice a gravel company on your right. Please note that GPS devices cannot find our main door. They can get you to this point on Route 2A/110, however. Watch for the gravel company, and then turn right onto Distribution Center Drive. If you immediately look to your right, you will see the trial site; we are located in a very large concrete warehouse. Travel only about 500 yards down Distribution Center Drive, and make your first right into our parking lot. Park anywhere; the entrance is at the nearest end of the stockade fence. - Ring Size & Surface
The trial site is indoors on ¾-inch horse stall matting with a total ring measurement of 80’x50’.
- Move-Ups and Add-Ons
We can be very flexible with processing move-ups and add-ons. Please make every attempt to send us the information by Wednesday. However, please know that move ups are always allowed at anytime during our trials, and you may also add extra runs in any class; just stop by the scoring table and ask!
- Day of Show Entries
Accepted starting at 7:00am; tell your friends and have them join us. Remind them that their dog must be pre-registered with APDT Rally-O to enter the trial. You may also add runs at any time during the day.
- Exercise Breaks
All dogs must be on leash unless they are in the show ring or warm-up area. We ask that you potty your dog(s) outside the building on the front lawn and clean up after them, using the provided supplies.
- Food
Refreshments will be available at the trial site for all volunteers, and there are several fast food and dine-in restaurants nearby.
- Judge's Briefing & Walk-Throughs
Judge’s briefing and walk-through will begin precede each trial. Trial #1 will begin at 8:00am each day. Trial #2 will begin immediately following Trial #1.
- Awards
Immediately following each trial, qualifying ribbons will be awarded to each dog/owner team who achieves a score of 170 or better. Championship Ribbons will also be available for teams that complete their tenth qualifying score at the trial. Placement ribbons will be awarded to the top 5 high scoring teams at each level.
- Run-Thrus
We offer a special run-thru on Friday of the trial weekend at 5:30pm; $10 per dog for unlimited runs.
